Why this website

There are two main purposes for this domain:

1. To present some kind of publc face for myself. I've grown weary of Facebook. I can't handle the noise and I don't want to produce value for some corporation. I can have control over presentation and not have content sink into a memory hole. Finally, I can practice my web skills.
2. To host applications that are mainly of interest to myself, that I write. Things like bookmarking.
